I understand it is in your best interest to think people can be made to accept Trump submissive acquiescence of Putin, by attempting to float the specter of an unholy alliance between Russia and China.
It is the exact same trick Red Scare mongers of the 1950s tried to trot out.
A modern alliance is not entered into lightly, and an alliance is based on a profound set of mutual shared values. The NATO alliance being a prime example, but not the only one. Any alliance is doomed to fail if it is not based on a deep and profound set of shared values.
There is no - and never has been - such a context for a Russia-China alliance. Any military cooperation between them is fairly superficial, and is likely to remain so. Although it is in their interest to have dumbasses in the United States and elsewhere around the world cringing in fear of a dreaded Russian-Chinese axis of power - it serves their interests to create that perception. It gives them leverage, especially over the uninformed, and over dumb asses.
Like most countries, China's overwhelming interest is economic. Which country do you think they see as promoting those interests? The U.S.? Or Russia?
