No, everyone inflates their own contributions to everything and diminish others. The ones who truly deserve more credit than they get are the Russians.
It's the USA, however, that went that around the world and tipped the scale in Europe, while also fighting Japan. Even Hitler knew that if the US got involved it was over.

So how many wars did you fight to protect the USA homeland? Oh that's right, you tried to kill us twice at least.

Didn't they overrun the Crimea recently under Obama's watch? Aren't they attempting to interfere in Ukraine and even shot down an airliner which NO ONE seems to be making them account for it?
