Kim Jong-un commits to 'complete de-nuclearization' in historic agreement with Trump

I am not a Dem and my comment was not churlish. Churlish is your substanceless "nasty c" response, you pathetic twit.

I just added some reality to your fantasy thread. This meeting produced nothing more than photo ops. You and Bigdog seem to think that pictures lead to significant changes, but excuse me if I remain doubtful.

We all have doubts ffs, but you have a rich history of negativity and churlishness, it's your leitmotif!

Yeah, we have never seen him take a selfie either.

Again, the agreement is not substantive and we have seen them agree to this much before.

So, "the photo op" that leftists were soooo upset about, ... happened. And now, the Left claims it is insignificant ... and identical to prior negotiations. :rofl2:

NK has already stopped launching ICBMs since last year, razed one of their nuke test sites, and returned 3 American prisoners.

' Mr. Khamenei- could you give us a word about America's agreement pledges, please ? '

I think the Peace Treaty would negate the presence of American Troops in SK. But also render meaningless Nukes in NK if there is peace.
(I don't know if you watched the 1 hour News Conference with Trump, but it was Great. The way he tells it, there's lots of verbal agreements that aren't in the signed Document)

He did not wait for prime time?

Given that NK teaches its people, every day, that the USA is the "great evil" of the world, ... that is a very significant statement. And if photos of "the handshake" are circulated in Noko, ... it will cause a significant paradigm change amongst Kim's subjects.

It’s great to know those people may be experiencing a glimmer of hope.

The danger for Kim is they may never accept going back to being hopeless. I know he’s a thug and a brutal dictator but if Kim is honestly trying to bring his country into the modern world, at the risk of his life, he should be commended for it.

I get the sense that’s why Trump is treating Kim graciously—-Kim is getting the benefit of the doubt, for now.

Remember that he went to school in Switzerland, so he knows the West at first hand.

Gun grabber Tom is further left than me, but...

Yeah, the AGREEMENT is insignificant. I am not at all impressed that these two bozos met, Dennis.

Giving them great credit for releasing prisoners, again, just gives them greater incentive to continue taking them.

It's certainly a great thing for those individuals, but it signifies nothing about the DPRK or how it will behave in the future.

You are very easily impressed, but you are probably more naive in assuming that others are, as well.

I know why Democrats have been so churlish and negative about this. They know if Trump pulls this off then he will be hailed as a great president and their dreams of putting yet another identity politics PC spouting Dem in the White House will have evaporated. It really is that simple folks!
Tom...don’t get carried away. The most significant foreign policy achievement by the US in my lifetime was achieved by the worst U.S. President in my lifetime and possibly our history who resigned in disgrace facing certain impeachment and conviction due to his criminal acts and abuse of power.

It is true that if NK does denuclearize and the Korean armistice ended and relationships between the two Koreas are normalized it will be a great foreign policy achievement. You’re a long way from being there and I will admit that Trump is incredibly unique for a Republican by having a foreign policy that doesn’t boil down to “kill brown people” and as a Democrat I’m extremely pleased to see Trump embrace liberal internationalism.

Now if he was only consistent.

The meeting, in and of itself, is substantive.

Obama and Hillary bombed their share of brown people.

Speaking of brown people, did you see Rodman on CNN wearing his red MAGA hat lol? He was pretty tore up about it.

You're wrong. Unlike Obama, Trump did not give up pallets of cash, ... or anything at all, to get the prisoners back. :palm: Zero incentive.

The agreement is significant. Without that signed agreement, ... Mr. Trump would be unleashing fire and fury upon lil' rocketman.

Comply or die, lil' rocketman.

Republican policy is to "kill brown people"??? :palm: That was FDR's policy, and it's the current liberal democrat policy in Chicago and many of our democrat controlled big cities And Socialists target Black's for abortion, to kill them before they are born.

Socialist Democrats led us into every major U.S. war of the 20th century. Socialist hero, FDR, threw brown American's into concentration camps and was supported by the socialist democrat KKK. :palm:

Nixon, ... ended the socialist democrat's Vietnam war and the draft. :palm:

And the brown people you refer to, ... are tan white people :palm:
