It’s great to know those people may be experiencing a glimmer of hope.

The danger for Kim is they may never accept going back to being hopeless. I know he’s a thug and a brutal dictator but if Kim is honestly trying to bring his country into the modern world, at the risk of his life, he should be commended for it.

I get the sense that’s why Trump is treating Kim graciously—-Kim is getting the benefit of the doubt, for now.

Yeah, the AGREEMENT is insignificant. I am not at all impressed that these two bozos met, Dennis.

Giving them great credit for releasing prisoners, again, just gives them greater incentive to continue taking them.

Tom...don’t get carried away. The most significant foreign policy achievement by the US in my lifetime was achieved by the worst U.S. President in my lifetime and possibly our history who resigned in disgrace facing certain impeachment and conviction due to his criminal acts and abuse of power.

It is true that if NK does denuclearize and the Korean armistice ended and relationships between the two Koreas are normalized it will be a great foreign policy achievement. You’re a long way from being there and I will admit that Trump is incredibly unique for a Republican by having a foreign policy that doesn’t boil down to “kill brown people” and as a Democrat I’m extremely pleased to see Trump embrace liberal internationalism.

Now if he was only consistent.

The agreement is significant. Without that signed agreement, ... Mr. Trump would be unleashing fire and fury upon lil' rocketman.
