No more Kneeling for NFL

I agree, children should be taught that one CAN protest, but I would add that they should also be taught WHEN and WHERE to protest. Dogs and cats CAN and will protest at any moment without calculating anything, but people can be taught to protest at the right time when it will count. Freedom to protest is sacred to me, but I also know that protesting at the wrong time and place can do more damage than good.

Just for my information, do you agree with this comment from trump: "You have to stand proudly for the National Anthem or you shouldn't be playing. You shouldn't be there. Maybe you shouldn't be in the country," Trump said."

Not the point. The league says the owners (employers) will be penalized financially if the employees (the players) protest in the workplace (the field) because some fans (the paying customers) don't appreciate watching politics instead of football.

I wonder how many fines the owners are prepared to pay on behalf of those employees who continue to cost them money and customer goodwill?

He's as entitled to his opinion as Colin Kaepernick is to his.

Don't like it? Vote against him (you did, and you'll do it again).

BTW, do I have to drag an answer out of you?

Is Hillary a proven liar?

It will backfire like defending MS13 backfired on the left. There is a reason why the kneeling bullshit is failing and hurting the NFL. The harder the left fights the mistake of protesting at such an inappropriate time, the worse it will get for them. The sooner they drop the kneeling bullshit, the sooner the ex kneelers can gain support for their cause.

Lets ask again, Einstein, how is kneeling hurting the NFL?

Are you the arbiter who decides just when and where a person can protest?

If you see something in what you quoted that suggests that I am saying children should NOT be taught how to decide when protesting is appropriate, point it out to me and I will clarify.

You couldn't drag candy out of the hand of a baby.

I wouldn't do that, because it'd be wrong.

You, on the other hand, are fair game.

We both know you're already answered the question.

Do I have to drag it out of you again? Remember what you said about Pompeo.

Is Hillary a proven liar?

We can and will decide just when and where to protest without any of your help.
I am sure you wouldn't have approved MLK protesting in Selma Alabama for one.

Do you think this is the message trump should be sending to Americans, that if players don't stand for the anthem they shouldn't be in the country? That just screams "dictator."

I haven't see how much the fine is for kneeling, but the amount may indicate if it is just a publicity stunt or if it will actually change anything.

In a democratic republic, Ev...the person doing the protesting decides what is the right place and the right time.

In dictatorships...others decide the right time and right place. Hell...in Mao's Chiina...some protesting was allowed...IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME. Hitler's Germany and Hussein's Iraq probably had "right time and right place" for stuff.

Give up on this. Your side is a clear loser...to anyone who truly understands what this nation is about.

By the way...to George Wallace...protesting during the 1960's in Alabama was the wrong time and the wrong place.

C'mon. Show some common sense...and abandon the argument from your side.
