No more Kneeling for NFL

Children should also be taught about good work ethics. If an employer requires a uniform, it needs to be worn. If an employer requires waiters to sing "Happy Birthday" at a table, it should be taught that this is not related to the 1st amendment. Kids should be taught to not confuse employer standards with Constitutional rights, and that they are free to seek out other employers if they have any problems conforming to the standards of one they don't like. We want children to be prepared with good work ethics when they grow up and enter the work force, so we have many things to teach them.

Children should also be taught how to conduct themselves appropriately when they are in churches, when they National Anthem is being played, when they are at funerals, and when they are in situations where respect is appropriate. They should be taught about saying please and thank you, they should learn about how and when to apologize.

American children should be taught that one of the major principle of the American system is that one CAN PROTEST...and that there are many people who proclaim great love of country who simply do not understand that concept.

For the record, Ev, the very last thing I want for any child in this country...is to be taught to do what adult American conservatives do. They can pick up being blatant hypocrites on their own...no teaching necessary.

Michelle Bachmann has worked the system for decades. She gets millions from Federal Agricultural subsidies and her husband get 100s of thousands in grants to teach gays to be straight.

I agree, children should be taught that one CAN protest, but I would add that they should also be taught WHEN and WHERE to protest. Dogs and cats CAN and will protest at any moment without calculating anything, but people can be taught to protest at the right time when it will count. Freedom to protest is sacred to me, but I also know that protesting at the wrong time and place can do more damage than good.
