Eliminate gun free zones and we can have the conversation.

There should be no way, in a civilised country at least, that an 18 year old can legally obtain a semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine. The fact that he had mental problems as well only compounds the insanity.

I disagree an 18 year old can join the military without parental consent. If they are old enough to go to war they are old enough to own any legal weapon. The only thing that should bar them is mental/ emotional problems or a felony conviction that removed their rights.
