Really? Your comparing it to motor vehicles?
Motor vehicles are a necessity in America, guns are not. Motor vehicles are made for transportation, guns are made to kill. Motor vehicles are owned and operated by nearly everyone in America, guns are owned by a percentage of the population and their usage on a daily basis is no where near the use of motor vehicles. Etc., etc., etc
Been there, done that, and it still has the same results
Someone killed by a NUT in a car is just as dead as someone killed by a NUT with a gun. Are you willing to argue otherwise?
