This isn't true either. Look into nbra.info for the real story on the "Southern Strategy", from its actual author. People tend to think that The South is made up of a single mindset, but that is obviously not the case. Even during the pre-Civil War era there were Republicans here; they just lacked any political clout.

I don't know enough about the people here but I do know that Black as coal is the perfect example of the black Archie Bunker.

Yes the Democrats woo the black vote and have for decades then when they get in office they do nothing for the people who put them there.

You do know that Black as coal will say they are Uncle Toms for being conservative Republicans. I have not seen such overt racism in years he sure has opened my eyes. I am so thankful that people like him are in such a small minority.

I don't know if they are a small minority at all. Not a majority by any means, but must be a high percentage.

I've been posting on various political message boards for about 15 years now, and invariably you run into one of these types that plays the victim card on his/ her sleeve. You see, in liberal la la land, the person with the most victim cards gets to claim moral superiority over everyone else. For BAC it's his African roots, although he's probably never been to Africa, obviously has never been a slave, and probably never been a "victim" of anything other than his own personal failures. Yet here he is 'I'm black, and therefore have a better opinion on anything' all day long.

A while back we had a poster here called Poet who played the double victim card, proudly proclaiming himself as black and gay. He was even worse than BAC. He's brag how he's some big time poet, which in effect was a third victim card because, after all, who the heck has any respect for poets? LOL

What the Democrats have done is replaced the black male as the head of the household with the government as the head of the household.

When it comes to what the Democrats have done to the black family and community, apparently it does take a village, so to speak, to raise black children since 1 in every 3 1/2 blacks is on food stamps and the left claims the majority of people using them are children.
