Free college!

Here in PA, our then Democrat governor legalized gambling, saying the proceeds would cut property taxes. My property taxes have risen every year since...

Florida said if we approved the lottery it would fund most of our schools and our school taxes would go down same as you school taxes just kept rising.

online classes are less then half campus attended classes are. 6 year high school grads allow for 2 years of tech training and a job immediately following.

your issue is educated people dont fall for trumps crap as easily
if you had read my previous posts before dogging me,
you would have seen "my issue" is that colleges are floating in endowment money, yet keep raising tuition.

That'a what needs to be solved, not free stuff unless a state wants to spend yet more money on education

People can chew gum & walk at the same time. You're mainly talking about private schools. Unless I'm mistaken, most free tuition practices & proposals are for state schools.

they done got this critter known as the internet...you should learn up on it skippy

Learn to read, Skippy! You must have one of them thar liberal public school educations :palm:

"The Post reported last month that Bronxdale HS in Allerton had a 76 percent graduation rate in 2016, but a 4 percent college readiness rate.

But the stats are even worse at other schools such as Urban Assembly HS of Music and Art in Brooklyn, which boasted a 82.5 percent graduation rate but only 3.8 percent of the senior class was college ready."

The Left wants to send these unprepared students to college where they can become burdened with debt, and fail to get a degree. But at least you'll have their money to pay those retired college professors 100k plus benefits per year for the next 30 years of their retirement. :palm:

You got a lot of old people to pay for, Millenials. You bitches better get to work. You also need to pay for healthcare for Boomers and pay down the National debt ... so stop slacking. Obama and the Left raped you hard!

the problem is endowments are being held back for future costs instead of using it for scholorships and reducing costs.

I have no problem though if states wan to further fund state colleges- i do have fiscal problems if it becomes mandated, or yet another money pot from the feds.

We are already paying for new Medicade expansion, there is an entitlement crunch coming up etc.
wee need to fund existing liabilities before taking on more

Now I see the problem. You are ignorant. College admittance is based on SAT scores. There are a variety of high school certs and do arent supposed to relate to college readiness.

Poor Katzgar needs mommy and daddy to remove the parental controls on his internet access :palm:

You are one ignorant confused monkey. SAT scores aren't based on just performance. Or didn't you know that?

And, as I've shown, by using the internet :palm:, the DOE says only 35% of NYC grads qualify :palm:

You can't handle the truth. Run back to your safe zone, child.

Colleges are already filled to capacity. How many new colleges will have to be built and when will they be ready to accept students for free? ... 10 years from now???

Just *where* do you get your "facts"? This is untrue.
