Make no mistake: yesterday was all about Trump

public universities/college used to be the term, but PC infested minds have gone into the lower grades now too..
Participation trophys, worrying about "fairness" rather then winning competition ..

What does this have to do with government? Schools are run by people in the communities, school boards, not by government.

public funding, as opposed to private tuition.
although education is now so monochromatic across the entire spectrum, that distinction is watered down

Public funding does not mean or equate to government schools. Would you prefer public funding for private schools?

The approval ratings don't lie - Trump is an extremely unpopular President, and he cost his party dearly yesterday.

What we're seeing today is just spin. By reading some of the posts here, I would think that VA was NYC, and solid left-wing territory. Many who were predicting a Gilly win or nailbiter are now playing it off and trying to say that he shouldn't have distanced himself from Trump and that it's no big deal that "a Dem won a Dem state".

The margin ended up bigger than even the most optimistic lefty would have guessed, and the other races added everything up to a much more ominous signal for the GOP. And if you read into some of the exit polls, the future looks even worse - voters under 45 went overwhelmingly Democrat.

Careful what you wish for: you wanted Trump to wreck the party, and he's doing it.

Virginia is a blue state they voted for Obama and Clinton, and the sad part is all the DNC was able to do was retain a governorship they already had, only manage to split the state House, and are still a minority in the state Senate, call me when you actually manage to flip a red state blue the way Trump flipped Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, until then the DNC is still barely a regional party.

Meanwhile on planet earth Republicans control the Federal House, Senate, Executive, Conservatives are a majority on the SCOTUS, and Republicans hold 36 governerships and hold complete government control in 25 states.

lol

And, at the Federal level, don’t have shit to show for it.

Losers, all.

you're missing what's behind the millennials, kids that are seeing the race baiting from the left, the cheating, entitled elite whining when they lose.
I say the "millennials may get squeezed out by your so called "cultural dinosaurs" and what's coming behind them. Mellinials by and large are too lazy to sustain a conversation much less a political movement.

the bernie supporters are sure to vote Dem next time, right?......

Nah - just didn't make a prediction on this one. Like I said, I thought it was a coin flip. I wasn't gonna start any threads on that.

But I'll try not to be insanely happy about yesterday's result because you & wrong-prediction ILA say I need to have made a prediction to be happy about it.

I'll really try.

You are acting just as I predicted.

The ACA is dead, Trump killed it through rescinding the unconstitutional executive order created subsidies that were not appropriated by congress, Gorsuch sits on the SCOTUS, tax reform is coming, and unprecedented deregulation is making the economy boom.

Public schools are government institutions. Teachers work for the government and receive government pensions upon retirement.

I am less sure about Gillespie right now, thought spic ad would turn people off. But there are so many swamp folks that live in Northern Va they may swing it.

I will make this prediction though, if Northam wins JPP lefties will all chime in that they knew it all along and that this spells doom for Trump even though none of them really talked about it leading up to today. I predict GayRod will be out in front.

I suspect most libbies stayed quiet on this one because of how wrong they have been on election predictions lately

Gilly lost.

You were wrong.

Yup but I was right about how you would respond and you haven’t disappointed

ACA is still law, moron. Fail.

Gorsuch was a gimme, pally boy. No change on SCOTUS.

The economy was a gift to Orangetweet.

Tax REFORM? Priceless!

ZERO to show for it.

Sour grapes, mosquito?

Loser. :rofl2:

Poor cretinous mosquito. Even have to use my descriptors.
