Have you seen a physician about your extreme emotions? The root cause might be a hormonal imbalance caused by a health issue if it's not mental or dietary.

Too small a sample size to make a conclusion. Virginia was at 9 while a close race was predicted, so it is interesting. However Trumps 35 percent is still there, not changing, no matter what he says or does.
 
The 2016 election had nothing to do with 'economic anxiety'. The economy was fine under Obama -- in fact, Trump has HUGELY benefited from the work done throughout the Obama Administration. Trump has simply planted a flag while riding Obama's coattails (what exactly has Trump done??). Same thing with ISIS. Trump has done nothing except let the military continue the work and policies set by Obama. More than that, Trump has ceded all decision making to others with regard all military operations. And thank god he has.

Define "way wrong" and how that differs from just being wrong? Were you "way wrong" about 2016? I don't think stating that I was wrong mitigates my being wrong. There aren't degrees of being wrong. You are either wrong or you aren't. I think your naked attempt at conflating this into more than it is is nothing more than a sign of your repeated butthurt over last year.

I was going mainly by the polls, which were consistently tight & within the MOE, and the fact that neither candidate was able to sustain momentum. Seemed more like a turnout kind of election, though I thought the Dem should be slightly favored.

I was wrong about how close it would be, and happily so, which is why I'm posting a lot about it. Turns out, this election was about more than a local race - feelings about Trump were clearly at play and affected the margin.

But, ya know - I didn't make any predictions, so I couldn't really be wrong on anything...could I?

public universities/college used to be the term, but PC infested minds have gone into the lower grades now too..
