The Electoral College is a disaster for Democracy!

We do need an enlightened dictatorship of the proletariat, that would be much preferable to the white supremacist, populist mob rule the current system enables.

That said I always thought it would be interesting to have a parliamentary technocracy where qualified citizens are chosen by random lottery.

Direct Democracy is a myth, sounds good in Government textbooks, but not applicable in life, even Athens wasn't a direct Democracy, it couldn't exist in the real world

The electoral college is antiquated, it has been wrong in two out of the last five elections, if it was to happen again, it should be studied for either amending or disposing

She's not. She's one that keep posting Hillary won more of a type vote that doesn't pick the President while ignoring the type that does. Anyone that does that proves they don't understand how it works or why it was put in place.

The Electoral College has been right 100% of the time.

It is the only thing that matters.
 
I have to admit I see the benefits of the EC because it prevents tyranny of the majority, it slows progress but does not totally prevent it. Without W we would need t have gotten Obama and without Bone Spur we would not see the leap forward that is coming next.
