Women don't know how to use tools and fix things, survive by cooking

MAGA MAN

Let's go Brandon!
Jennifer Appel and Tasha Fuiaba wound up roughly 900 miles southeast of Japan – and more than 5,000 miles away from Tahiti. The women’s odyssey started on May 3; two hours after they left Hawaii, Appel’s phone was washed overboard. Appel contacted the Coast Guard; the Coast Guard estimated the women should arrive in Tahiti by around June 5.

According to Appel’s mother Marie, next came problems with the antenna, the motor starter failing, and new rigging on the mast breaking. According to the Navy, the engine became disabled on May 30, so the women used the sails of the boat to continue.

I would say they fared quite well considering the circumstances. Calmer heads tend to prevail.

THey were lucky to have all that food on board. But the fact that they couldn't fix either the engine (probably swallowed water) or the sail equipment proves incompetence in a man's world.

Unfortunately I have found many a dead person on the seas over the years. Most were men and experienced mariners. Either one knows how to survive or one does not, really has nothing to do with ones sex.

I commend these women for having a Plan D. Plans B and C though, they blew it completely.

I also note that they were rescued by, gasp, men.

They were sighted by a fishing vessel and then rescued by the Navy. Both have females on board quite commonly nowadays....

They both need cooks and nurses. No doubt men provide the propulsion services....

Brutal. Some of the finest Officers and enlisted folks in the military are female. In all occupations. Same for the civilian maritime occupations and just about every other occupation.

Quite a few. Even construction trades have many females now. Times are changing. For the better.

Few and far between in construction, automotive repair, and engineering. These fields are naturally male. Are you denying this?
