First dropping job numbers in seven years!

Love the difference as to how you react when Obama's jobs numbers were up v. when Rumps are down!

And what difference is that Jarod? Being able to understand why the numbers move as they do as opposed to having no clue like you?

Zappa was touting the unemployment rate when it was dropping due to people leaving the workforce. He must still be happy with this current drop
That's nonsense, and you know it. I have more faith in you. Of course unemployment numbers aren't accurate, but they've been computed the same way for years. It's nothing but a comparison, not a real depiction of the employment outlook.

There were a few industries that bolstered the jobs numbers under Obama. Unfortunately, they were mostly fast food, and Walmart type jobs.

We didnt have hurricanes when Obama was president?

We have had 3 big ones hit the US this year, and another is on the way in.

Rejoice, Comrade Brad Jarod.

More American lives will be ruined or lost, and you can blame Trump and pretend that any resulting job losses due to storm damage are the GOP's fault.

It's not nonsense. The unemployment rate dropped despite the job losses. The unemployment rate isn't the end all be all number for that reason. My statement has nothing to do with Trump or Obama. Unemployment rate can drop with poor numbers and rise when job numbers are good (more people coming off the sidelines looking for work).

Zappa touted the unemployment rate previously when it was dropping even if it was caused by reduction in labor force participation. He should be happy the number dropped here

So, in Republican world... Increasing unemployment is good.... decreasing unemployment is bad!

Just stop. You may have found a way to make money as a lawyer but you literally have no clue about economics or the basis of economic calculation. (Not to say I'm some expert because God knows I'm not, but I can at least have a basic discussion about it. Jarod you can't as you clearly don't even know how the unemployment rate is calculated)

hurricanes.

You won't see steady GDP growth unless you get tax reform
Only if you keep higher earners at the same rates, increase FICA liability to $212,000, increase cap gains taxation, and slash tax rates for those who earn $100k/year or less.

Don't expect it to happen

It wasn't caused by a reduction in participation, any more than it is now, or any time in the past.

To be clear you're saying the unemployment rate can't drop because of the reduction in labor force participation

A separate survey of households, rather than businesses, told a different story. It showed a big jump in employment, by 906,000, in September alone and a 0.2 percentage point drop in the national unemployment rate to 4.2%, the lowest level since early 2001.

No. To be clear, the factor you are hung up on has always been factored into the unemployment rate. So your claim that Obama's numbers were solely due to lack of participation is willful deception. Kinda like trump. Wonder why he isn't saying what he did on the campaign trail about actual unemployment being somewhere around 30%?

The effects of Obama's economic recovery are wearing off...
Expect the usual republican recession to take hold...

And just think Buck Fuck, no matter what the economy does, your welfare check is always there. You need to be bi-partisan and thank every working person that keeps your sorry ass alive.

I'm talking about Zappa not Obama. I'm not talking about Trump, Obama or any other President. You haven't discussed the number with Zappa before so you aren't understanding what I'm saying
