Cam has had his media issues previously, and I think he tends to view these mandatory pressers in a Belicheckian kind of way - with disdain. He let that become a sexist thing, so deserves the criticism, but people should chill a little. It was just a dumb remark.

I don't remember if it was baseball, or football that had legal issues with players not wanting female reporters in the locker room.

Women have come a very long way in sports reporting.

What is the viewership for MLB in the spring? Pretty low, given the NBA playoffs. It's early in the season, and nobody's as interested in football right now. And in the N.E, it's been summer like outside. If the weather were shitty, people would be more apt to stay inside on a Sunday. I only watch a few teams, and even then I record it. I don't have 3 hours to waste in front of the t.v.

And it's year over year numbers. Baseball playoffs didn't start at a different time this year than last year

My question remains .. Is Newton and/or NFL protests the cause for lower ratings for NASCAR, MLB, NHL?
