NFL does plenty for inner city youth. What they cannot do, is rid certain pockets across the country of racist, rogue cops.

How is bending the knee going to solve 'the racist foundations' of the country?

The inner city black communities have lots of problems with gangs drugs and violence. I don't see how digging up historical skeletons is productive in the least.

Maybe you can explain how it works.

we fought a civil war over that already, we had civil rights struggles..now it's rogue cops -OK so ADDRESS THAT without disrespect for the flag. You disrespect the very foundations that allow for protest/mitigations

If you knew history better, this would be easier.

Question .. how did raising a fist in 1968 help the cause they were fighting for?

I can give you the historical perspective if you need it.

It became a symbol that endues to this day .. just as taking a knee will endure.

America has never been the country it pretends to be, and global exposure of that truth is a powerful force for change.
 
Black NFL players that are kneeling or sitting are exposing the thug in them,
you can take the thug out of the hood but you can't take the hood out of the thug.

ANd I mean that in the most insulting way, don't misunderstand me.

They're not only showing their stupidity by conflating two entirely different causes, but bowing to the inner thug in them that
