If a FISA judge issued a warrant, and there was probable cause I would have had no problem with Trump being bugged, just because he is a presidential candidate does not make him above the law.

Where is the proof they were tapped? Trump Tower has 58 floors of commercial and office space. Any of those tenants or the residents could have been tapped without it having anything to do with Trump.

The FISA warrant would not have covered Trump. It could only cover the Russian banks with which his campaign was dealing.

But let's suppose they tapped Trump to monitor his dealings with this bank. I don't see that that is necessarily wrong. They went through the FISA court (which should be more open). There is evidence that Trump was compromised and apparently a judge found it compelling enough to issue the wiretap. So?

This is going to backfire on Trump. It's going to shine the light on the evidence that supported the tap.
