semantics, with the way liberals want it set up won't really matter if you are a legal citizen or not, their policy would allow anyone from anywhere to be treated like an American citizen, they get benefits, go to school free, vote, drivers license, join our military.
now when and if these illegals for whatever reason start voting Republican, you will see a 180 on their policy.

I would prepare yourself to see some sort of DACA thing implemented.

For starters, trump has been very positive with re: to dreamers.

Secondly, the vast majority of americans support allow the dreamers to stay. So politically it might be the right thing. (though someone more realistic would realize that trump giving the democrats anything will not be repaid by liberals supporting him). It could help him a bit with independents tho.

Third, trump is a dealmaker. I don't think he's kept up at night worrying about dreamers. He wants tax reform, he wants jobs, he wants republicans to get their act together. If they aren't going to work with him he's going to tell them to fuck off and he'll get something done with the dems.

That said, trump right now is posturing and trying to get a deal made and people need to wait and see what actually happens. It could in the end just be tactics and nothing more.
