911 was indeed the result of Bill Clinton being "preoccupied" let's say.
No argument there.

The greater sadness is that liberals by and large still have not learned that being pro-active is really the only thing that can stop another 911.
By their policy we have to wait on someone to attack us before we can defend ourselves.

Exactly what is happening today with North Korea. Should be obvious to free thinkers that we have a direct threat to not only our security but that of most of the free world, and Kim Dong is standing on a soap box yelling such trying to warn us.

yet Trump by all accounts probably feels terribly hand cuffed by past aggression mainly our going into Iraq to verify there were no WMD's, the left is still whining we had no right.

Osama "had committed NO CRIME AGAINST AMERICA, so I did not bring him here because we had NO BASIS on which to hold him."

Never forget that DEMOCRATS guaranteed that a bill to help 9/11 first responders would fail by introducing it with a procedural trick that would not allow anyone to debate the body of the bill or any amendments to it.

Clinton was speaking in Melbourne for a paid gig on September 10, 2001, when he was asked about international terrorism.

"I would have to destroy a little town called Kandahar in Afghanistan and kill 300 innocent women and children. And so I didn't do it."

Roughly five months before that, though, the U.S. did launch airstrikes in Afghanistan and a pharmaceutical plant in Sudan.

Bin Laden went on to execute the deadliest terrorist attack in American history on September 11, 2001, killing nearly 3,000 Americans.
