The President better hope and pray the GOP doesn't lose the House in 2018

For the second time for those seemingly having difficulties processing information, Nixon was forced to release his tax data to the House Committee on Taxation back in 1974

Forced, or didn't fight as hard as he might have to resist this ridiculous usurpation of power?

I never said the Democrats would win the House in 2018, even stated statistically it would be an uphill battle at his point, and now you want me to bet? Weird

So you don't think DEMOCRATS have a prayer of gaining control of the Ways and Means Committee in this decade.

I guess you're fucked, then. :rofl2:

"Congress gives Trump a pass on releasing his tax returns"

“How can we debate tax reform proposals without seeing the president’s tax returns?” asked Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr. (D-N.J.), who sponsored the resolution. “Congress has the authority and the duty to obtain and review President Trump’s tax returns to ensure there are no potential conflicts of interest in the tax policies he is proposing.”

"Republicans saw it differently, calling the attempt to get Mr. Trump’s information an invasion of privacy. Need they be reminded that the person who sits in the Oval Office is not a private citizen"

At this point the numbers work against the Democrats, however if Congress continues to be as dysfunctional as it has a whole new ballgame could surface, one that could result in Mueller’s investigation being only the tip of the iceberg

how is this draining the swamp

I think many of these republicans are Russian dirty themselves

what's going to be absolutely hilarious is watching all of the 'conservative' schmucks on here go totally apeshit in 2020 when the Dem nominee refuses to provide their tax forms based upon precedent of Trump.

I have never cared about a candidates tax returns. Nobody should. It is a game rigged by the establishment (right and left) to keep outsiders at bay. You still don't realized how you are being played by the establishment. You want to play big Indian little indian

Another moronic leftist screed and talking point; that tax returns should define the qualifications for public office. You're proof of what a massive failure our liberal educational establishment has been. Dunce.

How do you know, if he calls for certain deductions how does the American taxpayer know that he isn't doing it to solely to maximize his own personal profits? We had prior Presidents' tax history to review any potential conflict of interest, here the Nation is flying blind

^This is your brain on stupid; don't be stupid.

I'm being played? you do know who I am, right? followed any of my posts?

Do you really think there is going to be tax reform?

Yes.

This President hasn't accomplished a single major policy goal in almost 8 months. Why should anything change?

He has accomplished a lot regardless of the pathetic moronic efforts of the Democratic minority. Fascinating how they used to rail about Congress doing nothing and now are suddenly fans for it. Hypocrites and morons.

Furthermore, do we need tax reform?

Yes; and only an uneducated moron on steroids could be supported of the more than 10,000 page abomination we now have.

It should be abolished and supplanted with the Fair Tax:

Wrong, a black could have never been elected during slavery.

The United States had five African-American elected office holders prior to the Civil War.

Three officeholders served as state legislators.
