New hurricane to follow

As long as you're comfortable, not evacuating. :D

I'll be grilling today. Taking the dogs for a walk on a beautiful, calm day. No precipitation in site.

Lounging with a brewskie, watching the panic from God smiting thee.

In fact, watching Rick Scott telling you to

RUN FORREST, RUN

I ordered a battery AM/FM/SW radio - free shipping and batteries is $35..that's enough to spend.

I'm not buying a fan. I'll get books -actual books from the library tomorrow -you know the kind we used for 1000 years before we decided we could only read by Kindle.

That's entertainment.

The Red Cross has given it's support to the Radio's that you can crank for power.

I've seen them at Lowes.

Some of them have phone charging ports, built in flashlights, and some other amenities.

Some other ones, that are available.

I recycle. My lib friends don't.

In the rural south they don't even have recycle bins, use plastic bags for each grocery item you buy etc.

In our advanced and sophisticated west and northwest we recycle everything. in the south they throw their batteries in the landfill. Shame on conservatards.

"In the interest of clarity, the EURO model and the GFS model have been tracking equally so far. The split comes on Saturday night. GFS shows coming North up the East coast. EURO shows a little more West and then North up the West coast.

Either way the southern quarter of Florida gets some damage. Right now I'm leaning towards agreement with the GFS model at this time. I still think by Thursday we'll have the clearest indications."

Alrighty then. Just got up and see that as of 11am, looks like NOAA agrees with GFS data, too and that Irma will continue tracking up the east coast. She'll be hitting quite a few islands including Cuba on her way. I doubt she'll be a CAT5 when she hits the southern edge of FL.
As always......she could change her mind again. All I know is that the further east she goes, the better for Florida.

the compassion and empathy from some of you leftist fuckers is.........awesome. If any of you are in the path of Irma, well I hope you get your karma.

This NOAA map is weird. I posted an 11am map at 12:56pm.........now it shows 2pm update. Hmmmmmm...I wonder if this thing is somehow "live" and will update itself on here at 5pm as well. This is crazy, never noticed this kind of thing before. Guess we'll find out at 5pm. LOL :whoa:
