Was North Korea's missile launch criminal or legal ?

Satire for Sanity
According to international law the ceiling of a country's legal air space corresponds to its maritime boundaries;

12 miles.

Anybody know the trajectory of the NK launch ?

Have we been deceived by the tub-thumpers ?

Surely not.

Wassup ? C'mon, I was taken in too.

What was the trajectory height over Japanese territory ?

Apparently it passed over Japanese territory at a height of 350 miles. It didn't encroach upon Japanese airspace at all.

You think you're going to ignore this , doncha.

How come nobody wants to engage the legalities ?

Targeting of a North Korean missile in flight that did not endanger the United States or its allies could also raise legal questions. U.N. Security Council resolutions that ban Pyongyang’s ballistic missile programs do not explicitly authorize such actions.

Japan also faces questions over the legality of shooting down missiles in its airspace but not aimed at Japan. Under legislation passed in 2015, Tokyo can exercise a limited right of collective self-defense, or militarily aiding an ally under attack, if it judges the threat to Japan as "existential"

So define Japan's ' airspace ' under law.

Oh wait- you're the member who denies that people of different political persuasion have rights. There's absolutely no point is asking you to think about any legal aspects of anything. You're insane.

If Japan finds a missile within it's airspace, it most definitely has the right to shoot it down.
It posed a distinct threat, many of those missiles have malfunctioned. They deliberately chose a flight path over Japan as it would cause the least problems. If Kimmy had tried the same stunt over China or Russia he'd be toast.

How does anybody know if it was fitted with a nuclear warhead and they were testing it? I doubt if either the Americans or Russians would worry about the niceties of legality if they tracked an unannounced missile coming towards them. Moontwat is a fucking idiot, the UN Security Council is the law and they met yesterday to decide what to do next!

Fucking twat, you don't fire unannounced missiles towards a country and expect to be in the right under international law. Why is that you support so many despotic regimes anyway, you're just like every extreme lefty I've ever known. Always the same bullshit, the West is in the wrong every time. You'd probably have been rooting for Pol Pot or Ceaușescu if you were old enough.

Dunce. It appears that all airspace above 12 miles high is international airspace. That's not a support of NK launches- it's a condemnation of the assholes who demand that apparently legal activities are met with violence- assholes like you.

They should inform China that the next missile fired toward Japan will be considered a threat and responded to accordingly.
This way China knows what's up.

But then, I would use a sub to hit him.

You probably don't know where China is. Don't let that impede your pontificating though.
