Harvey the face of climate change?

The mother earth worshippers have exalted themselves above the knowledge of Father God and believe that mere mortals can effect, direct and change the weather of this planet. This is pride on steroids. This is a false religion and a great deception of Satan.

Yes the climate changes. And the sun goes up and it goes down. Such has been the dawn of time. Man has zero impact on our climate

Nobody really knows if these storms are the biggest ever do they?

The bolded is as ridiculous a statement as an AGWer stating that it's "fact" that man causes it.

Nothing has been proven, either way. You're as ideological as they are.

This storm isn't a result of climate change unless you are saying that climate change aka global warming is causing the high pressure system blocking the storm?

The twin highs are what separates Harvey from a normal tropical system---even the storm surge associated with Harvey was fairly pedestrian.

It's a remarkable meteorological phenomenon though it sucks so many people are suffering on account of it. But it has nothing to do with global warming. The best link I've seen is the water temps in the Gulf were above average---but that has nothing to do with the blocking highs that have Harvey trapped over Houston.

But that doesn't keep the usual media suspects from blaming it on AGW.

We're ruined waterways, habitat, forests, the air around our cities - why is it such a stretch that we'd be able to influence the weather?

I doubt god cares that much. He/she deals in billion-year increments. The earth will recuperate regardless of whether or not man survives it.

You answer your own question.
What man does is the dog poop on the lawn. The lawn is huge, the poop small.
That giant hunk a hunk of thermonuclear fission out there is so damn big this whole planet can't escape it's gravity.
We're nothing.

It's a ball of nuclear fusion, actually lol.

When it starts to run low on hydrogen it will suck for whoever is left here.

Since Thingy can't explain how the two high pressure domes that are blocking Harvey have anything to do with climate change, maybe you can take a stab at lol.

Did I say it was about climate change you fucking retard?
Did Oncelor say it was?
Why are you so blindingly stupid?

Very few still dispute actual climate change. It's man's contribution that is the crux of the debate.

And bigger storms are part of climate change. So, yeah.

Please justify the final claim that bigger storms are a result of change. Because thus far we don't have any evidence of that.

The "man made" thing has nothing to do w/ it. I wonder if you guys even understand this issue?

Climate change is a pretty real concept, regardless of whether man contributes anything to it or not. And larger storms are part of that.

You guys need to go back & read your talking points again. No one really disputes "climate change" anymore.

no one has ever disputed that the climate changes. What has been disputed is the degree to which mankind has effected changes in temperatures.

No... larger storms are not a part of climate change. The size/frequency of storms will vary over time. There is no data that confirms that storms will be bigger due to current changes in the climate.

Do you admit that every action causes a reaction?
That 7 billion people take action?
How could there be no reaction from nature?
You are a retard blowhard.
STFU retard

The latter isn't an absolute, but whatever floats your boat (no pun intended).

the people of houston have learned the hard way thingy wingy

if for a democrat you will vote

Bullshit SimpleFreak.
There is historic evidence of calmer weather patterns.
