I merely pointed out the absurdity of the statement that we are on the verge of upending the world economy based on climate change models.

The problem with your claim is that, if the models are wrong, no harm. If the models are correct, then we have a major problem with the world economy.

Convert their economy? What in the world are you talking about? We are in the infancy of alternative energy sources. Who has tried to convert totally to that? That is, if that's what you're referring to. Your posts are so incoherent it's difficult to tell.
 
This is the logical approach and one which Gary Johnson proposed :
Allow grant money for renewable nrg research. Give tax breaks for companies that use and develop renewable nrg. It's a noble cause.
But for fuck's sake, carbon dioxide is nowhere close to being a pollutant (in fact if anything is "green" it's CO2) at the recorded levels so forget about carbon taxes on it and penalties for not complying with arbitrarily made reductions based on unscientific conclusions.
The left is as wrong with calling CO2 a pollutant as Trump is saying GW is a hoax make up by the Chinese.
