Meh. It's not Minnesota so all good. This year not even close to hot. It's been in the low 60's at night with mild humidity. It's been great. It's Midwest so gets crazy weather at times but less so than other areas of the Midwest because of lake Michigan.
In reality the food, culture & the local neighborhoods, 'segregation as you call it, I call it old world culture, is fucking awesome. Funny, the neighborhoods change ALL the time. I've seen it first hand over the last 20 years. NOTHING stays the same in Chicago. THAT is why I love it.

So you go all it's problem (other than block party) which is the most boring part of it, I live here, I KNOW different.

Minnesota may be more extreme but as a Bay Area guy Chicago's weather is extreme. But a lot of midwesterners migrate to Chicago so a lot of good people and nice folk there. It does rank high on the racial segregation list but that's neither here nor there at the moment. I love coming to Chicago for the USC-Norte Dame games. We take the train to South Bend. Always fun

Well it all is if in Bay area derp, lol. Yeah a lot of mid westerners do it's the NewLAYork of the Midwest. It's a natural move for folks in this large country. It is segregated for a lot of complicated reasons, they are not all racial & oppressive. One does not get that until tasting the food. Then one gets it. Trust me, I KNOW good food. Well. South Bend is not Chicago, it's Indiana but okay.

I thought I just read an article that said Chicago has the best restaurants in the U.S. We'd always stay at the drake hotel I believe for the games on the miracle mile. I'm a real estate guy so I love the architectural boat tour you can take. But all the niceness doesn't replace how bad the weather is

Well Cali guy you focus on the weather. Blah. Also, of course you have no clue, you stay at the Drake. It's nice & all but it's apart of the golden mile, the safe zone for tourists who are afraid of anything outside of well weather & downtown. Sorry but pathetic. If you REALLY want to know the city, then talk to someone like me. I will take you into the areas of food, culture & life. This city does not come alive until you are out of the golden (magnificent) mile bullshit, uh sorry. THAT is where the food is. It's in those scary areas called 'segregation' or as I call it, cultural neighborhoods. That is where life, food culture and Chicago reside. You REALLY have no clue. Sorry for you man.
