Every border agent to the man has a renewed bounce in their step, they now know they can do the job they hired on to do and the government actually supports them instead of allowing them to be ridiculed and fought at every turn.

I've said it before trump is bringing America back, one step at a time, through renewed trade deals, Military resolve on the battle field, illegal immigration enforcement, job creation by eliminating regulations, supporting our law enforcement at the street level instead of calling them racist.

The question for liberals is they can either help, acknowledge, or obstruct like they seem to choose to do and they will be slaughtered in the mid terms and again in the 2020 general.
I'm liking our chances right now in both arenas. Liberals have opened up a big ole glass of stupid juice and acting like drunks at the fountain of stupid.

red herring. we could improve our guest worker program,but that would also mean checking papers more often
like at traffic stops, or on the job.

Sanctuary cities are so destructive to the cycle of illegal immigration, but we also need VISA reform

Give Trump credit for making any of this happen, while the Dems actively oppose it all

The lack of laborers has been a problem for awhile and is increasing due to Trump's policies. I have failed at nothing, this is a problem that is easily solved, but our government takes it to extremes.

It would keep food prices low if artificially depressed labor costs were actually passed on to the consumer. Can you prove that they are?

BTW, if you feel bad for "most Americans" who you think "will suffer", give your money to a food bank.

I brought up effective immigration control and you brought up a shortage of illegal cheap labor and rising food prices, which you blamed on law enforcement. Isn't that what you wanted to discuss?

Let's say a mayor instructs the police to turn a blind eye to car thieves. Naturally, vehicle theft becomes common, but used auto parts can be obtained very cheaply.

A new mayor is elected and instructs the police to enforce the law. Vehicle thefts decline, and someone complains that poor people can't afford used car parts anymore.

Get the picture?

You are exactly correct, you don't know me.

There are consequences to policies, not all of them beneficial. Shutting down illegals and making it hard for workers to get visas is detrimental to our food supply.
