Haha, didn't watch but agree with your sentiment. At the end of the day as individuals we are essentially all the same. And as parties they both want power and to spend money on people who vote for them.
Yes. While there are obvious differences they both are hungry for power. This one side "has a heart" and their "only for the rich" is a bunch of hooey, IMO. Especially at the national level. Looking at both parties, it really seems that one side wants to turn us into a European style, quasi-socialist nation while the other side isn't willing to do enough for certain beneficial programs. One side wants to whittle the military down to to the nub (see Obama administration) while the other tends to go to the other extreme.
But in so many aspects they are the same...wanting power and will do and say anything to get it. And during the 3 administrations, this one included, obstructionism is the theme. So as the political seesaw goes back and forth, the answers (and lost voices of both parties) are more in the middle.
