That's a policy of more than 70 years standing...it was obsolete by the late 60s.....

I'm fine w/NATO. I'm not fine w/NATO expansion upto and encircling Russia.I'm even less fine with NATO escalation/

at some point one has to show me why Russia would make a hard invasion of the Baltics.
That would not be a cakewalk like Crimea, where Russia at least had historic claims and just glommed Crimea up.

but we weren't surrounding Russia.

This whole thing happened because we let economic associations of eastern europe be done by a
NATO relationship. it should have just been economic.

What do you expect Putin to do here but push back?

what i dont understand is why germany and the other european countries dont accept the refugees. The refugees dont want to stay in poland or hungary they want germany, Austria, and the other western european countries. They tried dumping the refugees on the austrian border before and the racist austrians closed it. : (

What the fuck are you on about now? Ever been to Poland and found out just how much Russians are hated there?

They have seen what has happened in Sweden and Germany, so why should they cause massive social problems just to satisfy people who are fond of telling others what to do? We have over a million Poles in the UK now, the vast majority are hardworking, speak English and cause few problems.

Because Germany and Sweden have taken an inordinate share.....this is a humanitarian crisis - though it clearly doesn't appear that way to the staunchly Catholic Poles (who, as I have pointed out, have historically enjoyed the hospitality of the world when running from their various disasters)
