Trump wants to impose work requirement for food stamp users

being a pauper, I am innocent. oops. ; I just read the definition which pops on a google search and it says a pauper is a person who receives gov. "relief" and "charity", as it is falsely so called presently. I thought it meant a person who died insolvent. I am the opposite of a pauper. I have never received a check from ANY gov. agencies for one red cent. I reckon I will die that way. I do have dear Christian brethren which have joyfully and lovingly cared for me.

How someone like you that supports social welfare programs funded from forced contributions by others can claim to care about those in need is beyond me.

It's not selfish to want to keep what you've earned. I'm not selfish because I don't want to be forced to do for people what they should be doing for themselves. However, those that demand others to support them because they won't support themselves damn sure are selfish.

If I paid for it, it's mine to do with as I please. If I want to buy it then destroy it, it's mine and I can do that.

If the government wants it after I throw it away in order to give it to those they believe need it, come and get it out of the trash can.

But we all know that you're an overt racist and all your opinions flow from that. Why target welfare when the military is so bloated, or indeed the foreign aid budget? The Interstate road system is getting old and will need massive injections of federal funds, you will have to contribute to that yet you may never use any of the roads outside of Hicksville USA.

Well I can see why you'd want to divert to something else, classic red herring. It is patently obvious to me that, especially in the southern states, there is a preconception that it is mostly blacks on welfare and that they are inherently lazy.

its because we give food stamps away to people that don't actually need them........here you can make fifty thousand a year and still qualify for food stamps.......nobody objects to helping charity cases......its giving charity to people who earn more than we do that pisses us off......shucks I can still remember when the lib'ruls were calling us pikers because we wouldn't extend SNAP qualification to people earning $80k a year........
