What's the liberal solution to Islamic terrorism?

Your whole premise is laughable, seriously dude, step back and listen to the reality. You talk of educating, reasoning with a movement that blows up children coming out of a concert.

Radical Islamic terrorism is finite, if you beat them into submission, show that their leaders are dying every day. Eventually if you cut the head off of the snake, the body rests.
Or at least the propaganda machine starts to look like a comic book.

Trump is very eloquent when he speaks of Islam, you need to show me a quote otherwise. It's just not true that he trashes Islam. Stop saying that and we might take you seriously

There is no black and white solution, and certainly not a quick solution. This problem was a hundred years in the making, dating back to the decline and fall of the Ottoman Empire (where the Middle East was carved up and portioned off to dictators, with maps and borders being arbitrarily redrawn). The only thing that can be done is to mitigate the threat, and not contribute to the problem.

Thinking there's a quick solution to terrorism is the quickest way to punch yourself in the nuts.

Fun Fact: Many Trump supporters were formerly Bush era NEOCONS, who supported the Iraq war. Although in truth, I think many Republican voters are not actually conservative, not religious, have no family values, and cannot entertain complex thoughts. That's why after the neocons were defeated, they become libertarians (the polar opposite of neocons) in order to oppose Obama, and then finally abandoned ideology completely in favor of Trumpism.

You'll have to show me where I talked about 'reasoning' with terrorists. And we've been killing Al Qaeda & ISIS leaders for years. There are just new ones to take their place.

Why has the Left been killing their Islamic leaders? I thought the Left wanted everyone to stop killing Muslims because it exacerbates terrorism :palm:
 
Lets just put it on the table. This thread is more proof that Trump voters think that there's a sound-byte solution to every problem. They hunger for a leader that provides them with easily-to-understand solutions like "Build that wall", or "Make American Grapes Again!". Even if the solutions are outright lies and pure bullshit, they want and crave the simplicity. Long thoughts hurt head. Ugh!

In a thread about liberal solutions to terrorism, all you've done is complain the right has no solutions because it's complicated, how they can't have "long thoughts" like you do, what NOT to do to fight terrorism, and how Obama droned people to no avail.

No actual suggestions at all. May be the job market, could be global warming.

The problem kind of throws a wrench in their world view.

The usual leftist bromides are of no avail: class struggle doesn't address it; poverty doesn't work because there's plenty of impoverished parts of the world that don't produce radical Islamists; in fact, some notable radical Muslims were both rich and well educated. It has little or nothing to do with the white male patriarchy, so that's out.

They would very much like it be a problem in or with the Christian religion, but it's within Islam---a 'brown skin' religion.

In short, nothing fits so they haven't much to say about it. They prefer not to talk about it, in fact.
