Nixon Redux: Comey Fired

I think every country should launch investigations into Russian collusion for every medium-sized issue that goes down. It would be a fun way to troll Putin. :D

Bottom line is that I saw the story breaking on TV, and LOL'ed. Douchebag Donald does have a way of being entertaining, which has pretty much been the basis for every Grind post of the past year-and-a-half.

Don't you know that ALL the information Comey had, leaves with him; because it's not like there are files or anything that subordinates would have access to.
He should be thankful that it wasn't Hillary that was President; because he wouldn't have lived long enough to be fired. :D

Looks like this little bit of information, has gotten under Rune's skin and is causing him to groan. :D

I think the 5:40 pm release of the firing letter was quite deliberate---and it was pretty entertaining watching everyone scramble to get their talking points straight in time for the evening news lol.

What's remarkable [and telling] is how liberals can conjure these elaborate Glenn Beck-like conspiracy theories involving Trump and Russia, but when AG Lynch meets Bill Clinton on the tarmac they suffer a sudden lack of imagination.

Right there, Comey should have known better than to obey Lynch's request to play prosecutor. Because even if Bill Clinton and AG Lynch were talking about the grandkids, it gives the appearance of a back room deal to clear Hillary. And that, tarnishes the image of the FBI as an apolitical investigating body.

Clearly, if Comey was concerned about the image of the agency he was appointed to lead, he should have punted the ball back to Lynch. Keep in mind Comey *chose* to do it. It was a request and not an order. It didn't come from the president and even if it did, the president can't force the FBI director to take on the mantle of prosecutor without creating a constitutional crisis. But he chose to do it---and it sealed his fate.

Why?

what's the difference between "colluding" and "cooperating"?..........

The lefties are trying to thread the needle. They want to keep the cloud of Russia hacking going but give themselves an out

I can't wait for the new FBI Director to reopen the Clinton case.

Wait till that happens. You will see the lefties have a collective stroke.

Nixon, of course, was far more intelligent than this low clown, who seems intent on making all the stupid mistakes he can in as short a time as is conceivable. The question is, what are you going to do with all the mugs who supported him when he goes to jail?

I love that Trump does things, because he can.

Unpredictable, deliberate, and always two moves ahead of his "opposition". which shouldn't be his opposition at all but rather part of his team to get on with the business of the country.
Liberals in general are slow learners.
