It is not nonsense in the least, social workers and doctors in the UK turned a blind eye to the practice, that is very well documented. In fact now, social workers are now obligated to report cases otherwise they can suffer disciplinary action. It is the same mentality that allowed all those girls in Rotherham to be raped and pimped out by Pakistani men. I suspect those cases are just the tip of the iceberg in the US as
well.

Social workers and police over here were terrified of being called racist, with good reason I might add. I doubt it is any different in the US.

What arrant nonsense, there are many Africans in England yet they don't seem to have "grown out of it". Indeed there were/are many doctors willing to perform FGM.

According to a criminal complaint unsealed Friday, while a doctor removed parts of the girls' genitals, the wife of the clinic owner held the girls' hands "in order to comfort them."

Two months later, Dr. Fakhruddin Attar, 53, and his wife, Farida Attar, 50, both of Livonia, were arrested Friday morning at the Burhani Medical Clinic in Livonia, where the alleged cuttings took place.

I don't know what the situation is in the UK but we don't support it here and I resent Darth's comment that anybody is enabling it.
