Should liquor stores lose their license just because they contribute to alcoholism?

If you want liquor stores to be responsible for what alcoholics do, then shouldn't gas stations be responsible for what street drag racers do?

Ever hear of dram shop laws, shit for brains? If a business sells alcohol to someone who is drunk or nearly so, they are liable for the consequences. Unless the customer fits that description in Whiteclay, this is not quite the same, but damn close. Don't tell me that the three places in a town of 14 don't know who they are selling to. In Calif you can't sell to someone that is drunk/suspected to be or someone you believe is going to provide it to minors etc.......
There is no law that I know of in any state that says you can refuse to sell booze to someone because you suspect they are an alcoholic.....

State & counties(in some states) can control/limit alcohol & sales but if the ppl are addicted that isn't going to stop them from consuming is it..??
There are about 30,000 ppl on Pine Ridge & this is where they go, now they will go somewhere else.
Dry counties~ I really don't know how effective these dry/semi-dry counties are, as moonshine is still being made in many of them..

These 3-4 liquor stores in a town of 14 within walking distance of the reservation sell 3.5 million cans of beer per year, almost exclusively to the tribe. One store did about $1 million alone. And you can bet they are not selling Bud Light. They are no doubt selling high alcohol malt liquors and the such.
