Should liquor stores lose their license just because they contribute to alcoholism?

i do not think you can wittingly sell booze as illegal sales.
That said there is a lot of money to be made selling Native Americans whiskey and hors d'oeuvres

If you want liquor stores to be responsible for what alcoholics do, then shouldn't gas stations be responsible for what street drag racers do?

Why do you feel it isn't the same? :dunno:

I sure grow weary of responding to your idiotic questions and absurd analogies.

Ever hear of dram shop laws, shit for brains? If a business sells alcohol to someone who is drunk or nearly so, they are liable for the consequences. Unless the customer fits that description in Whiteclay, this is not quite the same, but damn close. Don't tell me that the three places in a town of 14 don't know who they are selling to. If you believe that, you are more of an idiot than you normally portray yourself.

How is it different? Both legal products that consumers misuse. How is it the fault of a purveyor of a legal product when said product gets misused buy the purchaser? I really want to know what your argument is. Can you put in words or will you simply call me a troll or something?

Educate yourself. Look up dram shop laws.

Yea, but making them drive further down the road isn't changing that, just means someone else will be selling it to them...:dunno:

Not talking about illegal sales...........

In Calif you can't sell to someone that is drunk/suspected to be or someone you believe is going to provide it to minors etc.......

There is no law that I know of in any state that says you can refuse to sell booze to someone because you suspect they are an alcoholic.....

3.5 million bottles of beer in a town of 14, with the reservation next door. One that suffers from large numbers of fetal alcohol syndrome births. Ya gotta feel good about that, don't you Mr. Businessman? But it's LEGAL!

I saw nothing in the presentation that said they were selling alcohol to someone who is drunk or nearly so.
Could you point out that part of their decision?

Are you suggesting that people aren't responsible for the decisions they make, such as buying the alcohol?

Yea, that's how it is...... It's legal & they have the right to buy & sell, just like everyone else....

State & counties(in some states) can control/limit alcohol & sales but if the ppl are addicted that isn't going to stop them from consuming is it..??

There are about 30,000 ppl on Pine Ridge & this is where they go, now they will go somewhere else.:dunno:

Dry counties~ I really don't know how effective these dry/semi-dry counties are, as moonshine is still being made in many of them..

Maybe their getting pressure from the Pine Ridge liquor stores; because they feel left out of the sales!! :dunno:

You really are a stupid fucking person.

These 3-4 liquor stores in a town of 14 within walking distance of the reservation sell 3.5 million cans of beer per year, almost exclusively to the tribe. One store did about $1 million alone. And you can bet they are not selling Bud Light. They are no doubt selling high alcohol malt liquors and the such.

1 in 4 births have fetal alcohol syndrome.

Now, asswipe, you can bury your head in the sand about the reality of the situation, but these poison peddlers know EXACTLY who they are selling to and what they are contributing to.

Perhaps a 25% fetal alcohol syndrome sits well with you. That's because you're a massive piece of shit. It doesn't with me and these motherfuckers bear part of that responsibility.

Are you suggesting that people aren't responsible for the decisions they make, such as buying the alcohol?

Being the huge dumbfuck that you are, you are probably unaware of the high genetic predisposition of Native Americans to alcoholism. But, to asswipes like you, these people are disposable.

They live in the poorest county in the US. Only 1/4 of their land can be farmed. Almost no access to healthcare. A good many homes have no electricity or plumbing. Poor educational opportunities, at best.

Right. Excuse the motherfuckers in that town of 14 for selling their "legal" product to known alcoholics and know that your are contributing to such a high rate of everything from suicides to fetal alcohol syndrome.

That just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn't it?
