IMO yes it was stupid to say.

I can see where he may have been on the brink of saying something far far more controversial...but then conflated what he was about to say...and blurted out the wrong take on the theme.

ie: Hitler was a diabolical genius doomed to fail ---whereas Assad is a strange ninny without hope of success.

Hitler was infamous but Assad is a sad-sack doofus [similar to North Korea's leader].

Even though Hitler was a badass, it is no comparison to the goober Assad.

Assad is no Hitler...Assad is stupider.


BTW, in the old days, especially before Hitler, Nazi-German enemies made for bonefidely great villains. Hitler was 1st] a self-made genius and 2nd] a meglomaniac foolish death-wishing demagogue ... But today "Our" villains are dopey miscreants. Hitler broke the rules of civility...whereas our present day evil genius's are first maniacs & later, no-man's land ghouls.

Hitler robbed folks ... whereas our present day evil genius's don't know what the hell they are fighting for.

To anybody without an agenda it's clear that he was saying that even Hitler never used nerve gas munitions. This despite the fact that the Nazis had over 80 thousand tonnes of Sarin, Tabun et al. Spicer could have phrased that better but I can't help feeling that the cumsuckers in the media would have twisted it anyway he said it.

I suppose that one could argue that Hitler didn't gas many German citizens, since a good proportion of the Jewish population got away with having their property stolen and some went to Palestine to steal someone else's, so that most of those he murdered were Polish, Lithuanian and Ukranian.

Maybe he should talk about Trump escalating war with Syria and maybe starting one with N Korea too rather than his pet anti-semitic right wing conspiracy theories. Can't you people keep on message?
