White House: "Even Hitler didn't gas his own people."

he had an obvious meaning that was completely screwed up by himself.
Pointing out the obvious meaning is not DEFENDING IT - that statement was not defensible per se,
but the underlying meaning was there.
He had an obvious meaning that was COMPLETELY IDIOTIC. He didn't screw it up by saying it with the wrong words or how he expressed it, it was just a moronic screwed up comparison to begin with. The underlying meaning was idiotic.

I agree it was completely un-necessary to further demonize Assad, but keeping this alive as some kina
importance more then in passing is worthless..
And yet... here you are... keeping it alive buy continuing to try to minimize it.

and if you keep telling my motivations - you are simply being argumentative for no reason.
Absolutely not. There is a very precise reason. And it is obvious.

I understood what he said. I understand how butchered it was, i'm looking at it as a picayune issue
when there is SO MUCH more news today. If you want to focus on this -fine - I think it's stupid -my motivations
No, he didn't butcher it. It was a cow that already exploded, nothing he could have said would have made it anything less of an idiotic comparison.

Finally: Shocker.....!!!!!

I'm over it. I'm not getting into this silliness further.
And what did I predict, LOL.

I do not mind you being a well known nit-picker- it's a valid message board stance if you want to go there.
I do mind you questioning my motivations -it's uncalled for, and untrue.

Come on sailor, certainly you can't really seriously be trying to wordsmith this into something other than Hitler sending German citizens into the gas chambers. Stripping them of their citizenship doesn't change what he did.

Let's face it, Spicer is a major league idiot for even bringing the comparison up.
Especially during Passover.

Idiototic

the point was Hitler did not use any poison gas in WWII. I've said it was extraneous, ill conceived and immediatel walked back.
It's ridiculous to keep harping on it.

From the asshole still posting about Hillary
AND he used tons of gas during the war to kill his enemies, the Jews.

Why do you hate honesty?

What's hilarious about that statement is that you and all the other Spicer defenders in this thread have been doing nothing but nitpick.

Here is a summarization of one of them: "He didn't gas his own citizens.... he made them non-citizens first!" But yeah.... I'm the nitpicker, lol.

Why is it uncalled for? This is a political discussion board. Politics is driven by motivations. You are motivated to defend Trump and what his people say. And you will often go to great lengths and make incredibly stupid statements to defend them. Like when you posted that Trump was donating his POTUS salary - that it didn't sound like greed is an operative for him. If you'd like to discuss how ridiculous of a claim that was, we certainly can.

I am absolutely NOT defending it. I am putting it into the context he meant, which I agree was extraneous/erroneous.

it was walked back and clarified to mean not using gas attacks on a battlefield.

If you want to continue to harp on it -join the mindless media, but do NOT tell me what I am doing.
I'm not going to debate your take on it -go for it -it would just drag this out
but do not accuse me of defending the boneheaded statement

t was unneeded hyperbole and poorly written..It was one line. I'm over it. I'm not getting into this silliness further.
Of course you defended it moron.

To thine own self be true.

I don't, I suspect they considered themselves Hitlers people as much as those gassed by Assad considers themselves ASssad's people.

I'm an Americans but I absolutely do not consider myself one of Rump's people.

^ I was ready to type that.

#Notmypresident

Not a very intelligent statement whomever said it.
Hitler used chemical weapons. International law forbids that. And the world stood up to him, defeated his army and helped rid the earth of such evil.
Which is exactly the point at hand. Trump has stated repeatedly we are not to get involved in the Syrian civil war. We are in Syria to defeat ISIS. the chemical weapons was another issue all together.

Is there to be any peace in Syria with Assad in power? our stance is NO.
That does not mean we are going to remove him. We may try to influence Russia to convince Assad he has to go, but make no mistake we will team with Russia, Assad, or anyone else willing to help us defeat ISIS.
There is no enemy to the USA worse than that cause.
He used Zylon B in concentration camps but there is no recorded use of them on the battlefield. This does beg the question as to why they were never used despite the Germans having huge stocks of Tabun, Sarin and Soman.

There will be 3000.

This administration's arrogance, idiocy and incompetence will neither be ignored nor forgotten no matter how desperately you wish for it.

Every stupid sentence, every verbal slip will be commented on ad infinitum and when you step into shit as you did in this thread it will be pointed out to you repeatedly until you go away.

He ran crying from that thread.

According to the majority of the citizens in this nation, trump is not the POTUS. Historical fact, like it or not.

Now what does that have to do with anything?

I do not give a flying fuck what any thinks about Trump. The FACT is he is the President of the United States. Anyone can think what they want. Once again facts are facts, and facts are very strange things to some people.
