He is not evil, I have read many of his opinions, he is a solid thinker who attaches his opinions to real constitutional theories based in solid reasoning. I disagree with much of his opinions but he is a real juris. He will make decisions that are not popular with his base that are legally valid, if he behaves like he did in the past. Mostly he will be conservative. Not always. He is an improvement on Scalia who would always please the base by forcing his Conservatism onto any set of facts.
Gorsuch sees the Constitution in a very conservative light, and is different than Scalia who was a Conservative who saw the Constitution as a tool to promote his conservatism.
