How Trump Lost On Health Care

thing1, this might be the billionth time I have had to explain this to you. It's not about calling who would win, it's about overall analysis. You never see me giving watermark shit, for example, because he understands probabilities. I remember arguing with you that trump's mexican judge comments wouldn't hurt him (trump got more hispanics than romney), I argued that clinton wouldn't be able to turn out the obama coalition. I talked about how the stuff khan said wouldn't be sinking his campaign. Every time something happened when it was time for you to virtue signal, I had to reign you in. Then I talked about how independent voters would not break for hillary, because she's a known quantity for 30 years, and they already know how they feel about her, so it was trump or stay home. 80% of last minute voters broke trump. Many of these things the media wasn't even talking about. In late 2015 I talked about the exact strategy of turning out the white working class votes by beating up on the minorities (who are mostly located in areas that aren't competitive anyway). You take all of the above and go "hurrr durrrr Grind said he'd either win or not win"... no bro... that's not the point and never was.

You are unable to grasp the nuances of politics. you are a level 1 thinker. You can only think of the immediate moves in front of you, you aren't a grandmaster like myself.

In short, I am the finest deep level theorist with impeccable political insight.

You're too caught in the weeds. You fail to realize that Trump's Mexican judge comments DO matter. It's just another brick in the wall against the guy. He won a fluke election with some help against one of the weakest Dem candidates in history, and already has a near- record low approval rating. He doesn't have a lot of runway to work w/ in terms of public opinion, and the Mexican judge, the Hollywood Access tape, the Miss Universe et al. - each is another strike against him, another negative that most Americans add to their growing library of Trump BS that will eventually reach critical mass, if it hasn't already.

You made some big calls on this thread. Let's see how it goes.

Grind doesn't seem to understand the concept of a tipping point.

Grind's head.

Ryan should tell Trump to go fuck off, he should resign from the presidency and run for a house seat if he wants to control the business in Ryans chamber.

Reminds me of President Obama's 2012 budget when it came up for a vote in the Senate,
the vote on the president's plan failed 0-97.....not even one Democrat supported it....
Trumps failed healthcare plan didn't even that far.......lmao.....it wasn't very good anyway...
Why are you ignoring the strategic reason for that happening?

Frankly, I don't know if Douchebag Donald had an ulterior motive for pushing this bill. But, if he gets a form of his bill passed sometime in his 4 or 8 years in office, then it's not really a failure. A failure is something like the rollout of his first travel ban, because that is a failure, independent of anything that happens in the future (the incompetent execution).
The 'motive', was a massive tax cut, and a sharp reduction in healthcare spending via taking away health insurance/coverage from millions.

That was the only motive for this bill. It wasn't trump's bill. He doesn't even understand the issue. So, it was a failure because they cannot justify the impending tax cuts for the wealthy, without citing the savings from the failed health insurance debacle.

How Trump Lost On Health Care

The House’s failure on Friday to even vote on a Republican bill to repeal Obamacare — something party leaders promised for seven years and President Trump campaigned on — was a huge defeat for Trump and the GOP, in a number of ways.

What is it about brain dead clueless liberals that compels them to fabricate their own version of reality? Does it make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside in the idiotic belief that they are still winning?

This bill didn't "Fail" nor was it "defeated." It still exists and it can still be voted on. It might get some tweaking to make it more appealing to the Conservatives who correctly felt it was nothing more than "Obamacare light," but it was hardly a victory for the party of the Jackass.

But what I find profound is that the same liberal dunces who denounced obstructionism when Obama was President, now cheer for it and celebrate it. Got hypocrite?

The only thing more asinine than making this FAKE claim is the notion that Obamacare is anything less than a massive disaster.

This legislation, passed on a straight party line vote without any input that could be mistaken for "bi-partisan" and which idiots like Schumer proclaim is necessary, is only now becoming full law after Obama left office and will bury the Federal Government and many State Governments that embraced the plan in a massive amount of debt and red ink totaling trillions.

Yet idiots on the left celebrate that 20 million are now insured......which does not equate to being "healthy" and ignores the FACT that we now have 20 million more Americans on Medicare and no one has asked at what cost?

This is another great example of why the term FAKE media is so appropriate to a media devoted to progressive liberal fascism and unwilling to provide Americans with anything more than dogma and leftist propaganda.

If they did inform the American people; there would be an outcry to repeal this "obamanation" and replace it in totality.

But alas, sheep like you feel good about it because you ignorantly believe that by giving people something for nothing, they will appreciate it and not abuse it.

Dumb.

Trump said day 1 - immediately. He said it would be "easy." He said he was a master deal-maker, and knew how to negotiate these things.

Then, he said healthcare was really complicated, and tried to blame a party that has no power anywhere for the fact that he couldn't bring Republicans together.

No spinning this one, I'm afraid. Trump's first bigtime, high-profile legislation - and he got embarrassed. He is no longer the "winning" guy. He's a loser.

Yep, and Obama said he would close Gitmo is first year as well. But alas, Obama's claims didn't seem to bother you half as much.

You're a dunce on steroids....here is my image of whiney idiots like you who think that politicians should be held to their promises regardless of the efforts of the liberal left to destroy that agenda.

Trump couldn't get the votes when his party controls everything.

He failed.

What votes you retarded ingrate? There weren't any VOTES on the bill. And this asinine whiney stupid notion that Trump has somehow lied about his agenda is equally retarded.

Yes, he thinks he can get it done quickly and yes, he was stopped by his own party. That does not mean a bill will not be modified and supported by Republicans at a later date that will repeal the repugnant Obamacare act that was passed on nothing but lies.

But yes, you were okay with that as well weren't you, you massive lying hypocrite on steroids. You have a sad sorry and serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Seek some professional help dunce.
