My point is that a) the sex video making and nude pic taking shouldn't be occurring to begin with, at least not on as large a scale as it is and b) the authorities and the media shouldn't be concentrating solely on the soldiers who publicly shared them, but ALSO on the soldiers, women and men alike, who are posing for the pics and participating in making the videos as well.

They are ignoring the source of the problem while focusing on the result of it.

They're human. Not unlike the Secret Service embarrassment a few years ago. I think the issue here is that they were portrayed in the pix/videos as marines? If they're going to partake in normal human sexual proclivities, they shouldn't be doing it while portraying any hint of official ties to service.

Which would also include the fact that it was shared on a marine page.
