I'm not sure why you think that about me based on my opinion on our constitution. Look life is not fair and I'm realistic enough and honest enough to accept that fact. We are all entitled to equal opportunity thanks to our constitution but not equal outcome. We are all responsible for our own success, our own choices, our own health, our own happiness and the pursuit of that happiness even if we never fully reach it. We should never be jealous or resentful of someone else's successes, someone else's health, someone else's correct choices, or someone else's happiness. I personally believe that we are doing people a disservice by reinforcing the notion that they aren't capable of their own success, health, choices, or happiness. That being said we have a constitution that was created to describe what our government can do, not what they can't do. If we as Americans through our elected representatives pass an amendment to the constitution allowing OUR federal government OUR authority to enact a public healthcare system then that I would support that effort. Until then though the 10th amendment puts the onus on the states.
