One of two things occurred.

1) Someone decided to ask for a FISA warrant to tap the phones and a judge agreed there was sufficient probable cause to do so.

2) Trump is a hysterical, lying piece of shit.

My take is that #2 is more likely. Either way is bad news for the orange cocksucker.
