Trump administration to lift federal transgender bathroom guidelines

a) Not too many years ago the U.S. was not merely dependent on energy imports, but dependent on OPEC, a source in the most volatile region on Earth.

b) Due to energy conservation measures, expanding renewable energy, fossil fuel cleaner than coal, like hydro-fracking, etc, under Obama the U.S. was reportedly a net energy exporter.

c) Oil transport is trouble. There's more than just the train wreck that got dozens killed.
Pipelines have problems too.
And some of these pipeline paths go through sacred aboriginal American territory.

d) A significant pipeline spill could jeopardize the potable water for substantial tracts of land.

Bottom Line:
Completing these pipelines are more about indulging corporate greed than they are about solving an energy problem or promoting the welfare of the People of the United States.

If you are talking about Standing Rock then that's bollocks. The water intake for the reservation has been moved 70 miles downstream and that pipeline is not on sacred ground!! There is already a gas pipeline running on that route. In fact there are eight pipelines in total crossing the Missouri River!!

The entire reason why we have gender-specific bathrooms is to separate people out based-upon biological sex. The minute you start letting people use facilities based-upon personal gender-preference (or just preference), then having separated bathrooms becomes meaningless, and it might as well be unisex for all.
