What did Noah build the Ark with and what it says about OEC

So the Sumerian writings are beyond God's power but not the problem with the boat size or the biogeography?

sorry this exceeds your analytic skills......the issue has never been about anything being beyond God's power.......beyond your comprehension perhaps......you asked me why I didn't believe in a young earth, I told you.......now tell me why you believe in a young earth....

if you are arguing that Genesis (especially the first 11 chapters) contains the account of any historical events then it had to have occurred within the last ten thousand years.

why?.......there isn't really a reason to make that demand.....

but do you imagine all those Christians are going to Ham's parks for laughs or are they all atheists? There are obviously quite a few YEC still around

just as everyone who attends Disney World obviously believes Micky Mouse lives?....

of course there are also the Gallup Polls that prove you wrong on this
except no.....the poll you are referring to asks which interpretation of origin is closest to what you believe.......two of the three say that human beings evolved and were not created.....I myself would select the one that refers to man as being created within 10000 years as being closer to what I believe than saying man evolved.......thus, your assertion is demonstrably false.......

as an example, which of these are the closest to what you believe......man was created by God, man was shipped here by aliens from another galaxy, or man evolved probably within the last 100 years.....

No one has offered any proof that humans from 50000 or even 10000 years ago were capable of building large boats. They might have been able to build a nice raft, I am sure they could have carried chickens, goats maybe even a pig or a cow. Elephants and hippopotamuses, absolutely not. I would not say I have been trounced.

I'm trying to picture Noah enticing the perfect matched pair Bengal Tigers back to the ark to play with the Kodiak Bears he already had onboard.

.....

Disney sells Mickey Mouse is real to children, not adults.:palm:

(laughing)

Burning bushes
Golden tablets

And you. The massively gullible.
What's laughable is some anonymous dipshit like you thinking he can ridicule someone over to his side.

I've gotta tell ya, numbnuts. You've got nothing.

You're dumber than evince, and twice as angry. ;)

They like to put forward the false premise that Biblical Creationist folks believe what they believe out of a need to feel "special."

The irony is the truth is the polar opposite of that. It is the evolutionists who get outraged and seek to silence anybody who dares suggest there is a greater intelligence out there than the body odored uncombed professor with plaid patches on his elbows.

It's amusing atheists don't believe in a higher intelligence when pretty much everyone has a higher intelligence than atheists......

lol

Cunt, I challenged you to take a stand on the OP and you ran away.

Pussy

I challenged you to show to a location for which you've made enough statements indicating you know where it is. You even named a State and claimed all sorts of things only someone that could know the location could claim. You failed to show and still keep hiding like a pussy.

Of course, I don't. What I am getting at is

Of course, I don't believe in a young earth, idiot.

Yes, there is a reason for the demand. There is no way Noah could have built a boat capable of carrying what is purported with stone age tools. It would have been tough with bronze age tools. Your only answer is magical powers.

It was probably pointless to ask a spineless coward like you to explain "how do you decide when to invoke magic?" No, you will just leave that out in response and pretend I was asking something else or claiming that the earth is young.

You have been lying about that poll for a decade now. You are a liar. YEC is still quite popular and there is no doubt that OEC are the newcomers.

Yes, it is difficult to really pinpoint what it is you morons believe because you idiots suffer from a lot of cognitive dissonance and you are not well educated on the subject matter. I mean, just look at the "Oh My God" thread where TapsOut constantly made a claim and then later disavowed the claim.

A deeper dive on the gallup polls...
http://www.livescience.com/46123-many-americans-creationists.html

Religion was positively tied to creationism beliefs, with more than two-thirds of those who attend weekly religious services espousing a belief in a young Earth, compared with just 23 percent of those who never go to church saying the same.
Just over a quarter of those with a college degree hold creationist beliefs, compared with 57 percent of people with such views who had at most a high-school education, the poll found.

Most of the people who believed in evolution also said they were knowledgeable about the theory, whereas those who said they were not too familiar with the theory also were less likely to believe in it.

Perhaps you are not meeting many YEC because you are not attending church? Obviously, those that do are getting a YEC message.

Another source...

In 2009, Bishop ran a survey that clarifies how many people really think the earth is only 10,000 years old. In survey results published by Reports of NCSE, Bishop found that 18% agreed that “the earth is less than 10,000 years old.” But he also found that 39% agreed “God created the universe, the earth, the sun, moon, stars, plants, animals, and the first two people within the past 10,000 years.”

Like I said, it appears it seems to depend a lot on who you are talking to and what image you want to present. If you think the guy is getting at your understanding of science you will pretend to agree with those views supported by the science. If you think he is asking about your religion then you revert to YEC.

But the real point is this...

Just over a quarter of those with a college degree hold creationist beliefs, compared with 57 percent of people with such views who had at most a high-school education, the poll found.

Creationists are poorly educated and they plugged their ears during the discussion of the toe, so they don't really know what they are talking about, what they believe or what they reject.

All the expensive stuff Disney sells is purchased by the adults.

Who think that it represents some real thing or event? Nonsense. I can't believe anyone was stupid enough to try to defend that idiotic point made by PiMPle.

I guarantee, the kids that think it is meant to depict some real thing or event are mostly children deluded by religious belief.

Wrong again, bitch.

There is no amount of logic that will bring the flat earthers to reality. The ridicule is the fun part.

Tell me again how a 500 year old man took 120 years to build a boat to hold all the animals in the world.
