I know that vessel very well. Might even know your friend. If not, he is a luck man in my eyes. That being said it is a ship. A full rigged Barque. And only half the length and 15% of the width of the Ark. Being a ship, a good portion of her is not for cargo.
The Ark would have been more like a barge. All cargo space. Snake, rats, spiders etc do not take up much room. You would only need a couple of elephants or any bigger animal. If this were to be accurate, I am sure Noah would have only collected animals in his general local right?

I have no problem with a hope that there is some undetectable afterlife or reincarnation or post mortem thing. It's the "belief" and vow part that is in essence coercive, fraudulent and destructive. Not to mention the horrific acts done to control that nefarious country club through the ages, from flaying, stoning and raping to god knows whatall.
