AGW and belief in God

Bill W created his own faith.

You are not addressing my points and are trying to change the subject.

Another problem with Pascal's argument is that it presumes the nature of God. Same thing with your nonsense. Both presume to know how God will judge and that God has accepted the bet. It's fallacious nonsense.

For instance, Wodin's metrics for judging is not belief but how well you fight. Of course, I am sure you ignore the stories and pretend that Wodin believes whatever you want him to believe

Like the Abrahamic faiths Wodin is the allfather.

He's a cultist and his program is crap. Talk therapy is helpful all the other stuff is crap.

Back to the point... Pascal's wager implies a God with a specific identity, just as Norse Mythology does.

AA's 50% success rate tells a different story especially compared with western
medicine's 2% success rate.

My uncle is a meteorologist.
It is hardly the clown science you make it out to be.

So we're back to weather again. You Al Gorians so easily interchange the two, climate and weather..

Sorry Rune, reading a weather map and looking at historical data is just not that difficult, AND their predictions are, notoriously, often wrong! So much so, that it has become a standard joke line for sit coms.

because he's a young earther.....

"After the flood Noah lived 350 years. Noah lived a total of 950 years, and then he died."

"The Bible is the word of God"
"How can you be sure it's the word of God?"
"Because the Bible tells us so"
"Why believe the Bible?
"The Bible is infallible"
"How do you know it's infallible?"...

???.....I don't recall adding anything......perhaps a bit of subtraction of detail.....

You claimed that Noah only took basal species on the ark. For instance, you claimed that one kind of feline was taken which gave birth to house cats and tigers in a single generation. LOL.

You also argued that maybe the flood did not cover the entire world which contradicts the bible.

You made it all up.

Pangaea started to break up 175 million years ago. The marsupials of Australia did not yet exist (their ancestors the metaherians did) and mammals had just appeared. Of course, there was nothing approaching a human... no primates.

But hey, maybe Noah was a shrew!

so I subtracted from YOUR understanding of a book you don't even believe in........lol......

WTFRU talking about? Your delusions are just weird.

You did not subtract from my understanding of the bible. You added to and contradicted the bible. You have made up your own incoherent theology.

The authors of those books of the Holy Bible didn't understand the severe genetic complications of inbreeding.
If their theological fantasy was scientific reality, then Biblical events like The Garden of Eden / Adam & Eve,
and The Flood / Noah would have caused severe problems, from which recovery would have been impossible.

But there's a lot of that in the Holy Bible.

"Dear Dr. Laura,
Thank you so much for trying to educate people regarding god's law. I have learned a great deal from you, and I try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can.
When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle for example, I simply remind him that Leviticus 18:12 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.
But I need some advice from you, regarding some of the other specific laws and how best to follow them.
When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the lord (Leviticus 1:9), the problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. How should I deal with this?
I would like to sell my daughter into slavery as suggested by Exodus 21:7. What do you think a fair price would be? I know I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Leviticus 19:24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking. But some women take offense. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I obliged morally to kill him myself, or may I hire a hit-man?
I know you have studied these things extensively, and so I am confident you can help.
Thank you again for reminding us that god's word is eternal, & unchanging."

Not a big Daily Mail fan, but this is a great article.

One of their own left the reservation. Witness the subsequent mauling and evisceration of his person.
Of course all the usual suspects jump on it and immediately start mewling and puking.
