Wow, this is big.

These people offered their resignations when Trump was elected, as is protocol for a new president, but the resignations were not accepted.

Today, they all resigned together. It is getting very interesting around here. The apologists will say its not a big deal, or that Trump fired them, simply not true, this is, in my opinion the biggest news story of the week.

I worked with the State Department for several years when I was in my 20's. This is a big deal. All that institutional memory, people who served under both Democratic and Republican administrations alike have walked out, giving up powerful and influential jobs that they had spent decades working hard to earn.

I sure hope Trump accepts their resignations....Obama was packing federal jobs with leftie subversives during his last weeks to obstruct Trump....
time for Trump to put his supporters in those jobs.....

what goes around, comes around......elections have consequences as Obama once said.......

They did not wait for him to accept or decline, they walked out.

they all needed to go -
i suppose they got tired of it all, and Medeline Albright's stuff about "becoming a Muslim" made them all butt hurt.

The problem is the Democratic Slow Walk on Cabinet positions ( extreme) - but it will be better in the long run

I don't know if leadership at State is part of the swamp but if it is this is a definite draining.

Good. I hope it establishes a precedent and the other wasteful agencies follow suit, as 95% of these, wink wink, career civil servants contributed to Hillary Clinton's campaign. This is the best thing that could happen, the president would've had a hell of time getting these leeches legally off the people's payroll.

Who needs the kind of experience these leftists bring to the table in the first place, appeasement while blaming all the world's problems on the U.S.? I'd like to see quite a bit more protest resignations.

Only leftists would bury themselves to prove they know how to use a shovel. Funny as Hell. Good work, who needs to drain the swamp when the rats are falling on their swords committing harikari because of the anger? Priceless:good4u:

If he wanted them out, why not accept the resignation last week?

Unless they want to be lobbyists and don't want to have to wait 5 years to rake all that cash.
