More Californians than ever want to secede from US

And thank God Trump got into office when he did. I don't think America would've survived four more years of the democrat party.
 
I wouldn't honestly care if California seceded, as long as we don't give them another dime or fund them in any way.

Without California:
Electoral vote:
Trump: 304
Hillary: 172

Popular vote:
Trump: 58,496,350
Hillary: 57,091,275

U.S. House of Representatives:
Republican: 227
Democratic: 155

U.S. Senate:
Republican: 52
Democratic: 44
Independent: 2

Federal money taken from California: $292,564,000,000 (FY2012)
Federal money given to California: $343,725,000,000 (FY2013)
If the above numbers are correct, it would suggest that no matter how much revenue comes out of California, or how robust their economy is, it still takes in more federal money than it gives, so getting rid of it, wouldn't seem to hurt the U.S. all that much...

Granted, I want to see CA fall on its face, but, that is just the fiscal argument. There is a commercial argument to be made that CA contributes handsomely to the GDP.
 
California is just demonstrating that they are the snowflakiness champions. Just like liberal morons who threatened to leave the country and didn't, so too will this latest temper tantrum quell.

Q. How is it that the land of fruits and nuts and hippies and lesbians and communism is the most prosperous state by far? Just imagine how great the USA could be if we multiplied California's awesomeness by 57!

The value of Scalia weighing in is not the intrinsic merit of his sentiment, but that the right skinhead gun nutters lionize the man and he believes them to be the idiots I know they are. More importantly, a Scotus court with the issue before it decided that secession is illegal. There are several decisions incorporating the reasoning and it is settled law, whether by Scalia's stupid right on conquest argument or the more rational ones of that Court before him.

Well that's just sad. In addition to leaving the less perfect union we shall extrude the fascist elements from within and harvest their nutrients to feed our cattle. Or send them to a square state.
