They can't seem to get it through their heads that having so much of your vote coming from 15ish counties in the whole country is a losing electoral formula.

Think of how screwed they're going to be if Trump begins to appeal to minorities in the urban areas. Not saying he will, but they would be wise to not underestimate him. Trump was scoffed at the moment he declared to run---by people in his own party.

If...Trump delivers on jobs, democrats are going to start bleeding minorities and they will have no chance at all getting the Rust Belt and working class back.

I'm convinced they are clueless to how precarious their situation is.

the 'left' WILLINGLY accepted that control because they always went with the axiom of 'better than the right'. it's how the divide in this country has widened over the decades.

Of course they did .. as they should. The DLC/Clinton wing of the party was in large part responsible for the failures and losses. It is the RESPONSIBILITY of the Left to force a larger role and voice in the party.

and that divide is only going to get immensely more expansive because of it.

people congregated in big cities because industry needed massive amounts of manpower.......as man is replaced by robots in industry, manufacturing becomes decentralized, beer becomes micro-brewery, shopping moves away from malls..........people don't need to live in urban areas......some millennials are repopulating old urban areas, but is city population actually increasing or decreasing.......Detroit went from 1.2 million to under 800k in the last twenty years......the Los Angeles area population has grown, but has the city population grown or declined as people relocate further away where home prices are cheaper.....
