who didn't even bother campaigning in MI and WI. Clinton lost the election because of it - the rest is bs.

Try winning the electoral college with a 'cult fan base'.

If anything, the democrats have become a regional party that lacks a broad appeal, which is closer to a cult fan base than Trump's movement.

Outside of college campuses, urban areas and the entertainment industry [can we say bubble lol?] they are losing ground. And one wonders how long Democrats can keep the urban areas. If you're jobless in Detroit why would you give a crap about gender/identity politics, climate change or other liberal dogmas?

Maybe they better keep the handouts coming.
