In massachusetts, you just walk up and give your name and address, no proof necessary. I could give the name of my friends easily and vote in their place. My brother didn't vote this year, I live nearby and could have easily given his address and name. California is even worse.

And you suck government dick everyday. You fill out papers for the government. They are called tax forms. You need an ID to basically function in this society. Now i am not saying I approve of a government ID, but there probably is some solution inbetween what you are advocating and what tom is advocating.

BS...you can't get half of eligible voters to vote let alone cheat. It's simply not a significant problem here.

how about I just sign in and it's up to them to verify my signature matches with my voter registration. It's worked for a shit load of time without any significant indication of voter fraud.

How about your voters registration? Didn't you meet the criteria for identification there? Why an added step when it isn't needed other than another step that discourages voting for some?

The evidence that this is a problem is so small as to be statistically insignificant. Why a solution to an insignificant problem?

Correct obviously. We all had to at one point though show ID to register. A first time voter in MA has to still show ID and if you have not voted in a while, they can ask you for an ID. I personally do not see the problem with asking for ID when voting.

Many states already require some form of ID, it is nonsensical for there to be such variance across the states.

Last I heard there were discrepancies in a little over 50% of the precincts. I'm not sure anyone really knows for sure yet what the real numbers are, all we know is the political machine in the city tried to stuff the ballot boxes. There were some other precincts in the same county but not in Detroit where this happened too.

And I don't believe this was limited to Detroit.

well the good news for Domer is that while all of Detroit is Democrat only half of them got caught cheating....

Yes, it is fraud. They had more ballots than voter card tabs in over half the precincts in the city and there weren't just a few more ballots. Notice I said tabs. The scanners had nothing to do with it. There are 83 counties in the state of Michigan using the same equipment but only one of those counties had a problem...allegedly. As I said, the tabs were matched up with the ballots so the scanners had nothing to do with it, that's just some bullshit the Detroit clerk came up with to try to keep her sorry, cheating ass out of prison.
